Dec 1996: 3058 Benvenue Avenue, Berkeley, California, with about 3000 Christmas lights. Home of DWM (1938- ) and ACM (1949-). Deane lived here 1974-97, and Chris 1991-97. In the driveway at the right end of the house one can make out the rear end of Chris' red Volkswagen bug, also decorated with lights.
Jan 1997: 22 Mechanic Street, Shelburne Falls MA. The lifetime residence of Cordeanio Harley Merrill (1840-1908). The house was sold after the death of Cordeanio's widow Jane Hannah "Jennie" Audinwood (Merrill) (1855-1940), and repurchased by Cordeanio's great-grandson DWM (1938- ) in March 1997. 
Oct 1997: 22 Mechanic Street, Shelburne Falls MA. Photo by Beverly Wynn. The large tree was removed in April 1997, and the front porch was replaced in July 1997. Deane's wife ACM (1949-) moved here in July 1997 with her mother LGBW(1908-), and Deane joined them in May 1998. 
Dec 1997: 22 Mechanic Street, Shelburne Falls MA. The materials on the front porch were used to repair walls and ceilings in January 1998. 
Dec 1997: DWM (1938-), CZDP(1995-), EGM(1968-), and JAM(1945-), at the grave of Moses Whitney Merrill (1817-1859) and Abigail Eels Coleman Merrill (1818-1892), in Arms Cemetery, Shelburne Falls, Massachusetts. Moses and Abigail are Chilenne's 4th-great grandparents.
