database ostrander includes the family of Terence Kelley. It includes surnames Ostrander, Kelley, etc. A GEDCOM file (1900 names) was exported on 6/26/97 from Family Tree Maker for Windows (FTW) Version 3.40 in FTW GEDCOM version 5.3 format.
Attempts to process it with GED2HTML gave many errors. The GEDCOM file was loaded into FTW Version 4.0, which also gave many errors, and re-exported in FTW GEDCOM version 5.5 format. The resulting file was processed by GED2HTML without errors.
A PERL program living.pl, was used to censor information for living persons. By permission, the information was restored for two of those living persons.
The GEDCOM file was converted to HTML with GED2HTML 3.0 for Solaris 5.4 (version of 2/2/97). Custom files options2.g2h and custom2.g2h were used to include the birth and death dates of parents, spouses, and children.
Database ostrander was submitted to GENDEX and GENMATCH.
