database dwmerrill6 is maintained by Deane Merrill. The genealogical information was organized by Mrs. Marjorie Y.B. Wolff (user100173@aol.com) nee Marjorie Gladding Young (1912-), in an extensive unpublished document "Yclept Young." One copy is owned by Mrs. Wolff's nephew Paul Shipman Andrews (1947-) (unitrelig@igc.com). "Yclept Young" focuses on Mrs. Wolff's direct ancestors in America, most of whom lived in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. A few 16th century ancestors in the British Isles are included.

The database dwmerrill6 contains summary entries for Mrs. Wolff's direct ancestors, but almost none of the additional descriptive material in "Yclept Young."

The file young1.ged of 12/15/96 (903 names) was produced with Genealogical Information Manager (GIM) version 3.15, in U(universal) output format. The routine living.pl was used to censor information about 16 living persons. By permission, information was restored for two of those persons. The routine gim315_univ.pl was used to convert source notes to SOUR format. The routine cont.pl was used to convert CONT lines to CONC lines.

In wwh.net, an "a.out compatible" Linux Pentium II system, the resulting GEDCOM file was converted to HTML with GED2HTML 3.0b for Linux ELF (version of 5/28/97) on 1/29/98. options3.g2h was used to include only one individual per output file, to produce three levels of ancestors in pedigree charts, and to invoke custom3.g2h. custom3.g2h was modified to to report birth and death dates of parents, spouses, and children. Database dwmerrill6 was submitted to GENDEX and GENMATCH.
