GENDEX database dwmerrill2 includes the family of my wife Anna Christine Morben (1949-) and her children and former husband (surnames Allen, Morben, Woods).
Many of the birthdates are merely estimates, as indicated under Sources.
Information about living persons is removed, except for full name, gender, and
relationships to others. Persons are assumed dead if death date is known, or if birthdate is before 1899. Missing birthdates are estimated from next of kin.

The database dennie:\\g:\ftw\allen.ftw was created on 6/29/01 with Family
Treemaker for Windows 8.0.
Multiple data entries (for example, alternate birth dates, are not correctly handled by GED2HTML. FTM 8.0 considers the first entry to be preferred, but only the last entry is picked up by GED2HTML. Therefore, multiple data entries produced by merging individuals had to be manually removed.
The file allen.ged (758 names) was exported in GEDCOM 5.5 ASCII format. The database was privatized to produce the file clean.ged, which excludes most information for living persons.
GED2HTML v3.0b cannot properly handle the GEDCOM output of FTW v8.0. To avoid this problem, the GEDCOM file clean.ged was pre-processed with scripts
fixftm40.csh and fixftm40.ed. There are still some minor problems in handling sources.The resulting file was processed in wwh.net with GED2HTML LINUX ELF version 3.0b of 5/28/97, with custom files
options3.g2h and custom3.g2h.Database dwmerrill2 (an earlier version of 10/27/99) was submitted on 5/13/01 to Ancestry World Tree (
http://www.ancestry.com) by Ancestry user dwmerrill (merrill@crocker.com) (database 28614, 590 individuals). The 6/29/01 version of clean.ged, 758 names, was resubmitted on 6/29/01.Questions regarding database dwmerrill2 should be directed to

There was a suspicion that Alberta ALLEN (1869-1947), the great-grandfather of my wife Anna Christine MORBEN (b.1949) might be the first cousin of Floyd ALLEN (abt.1857-1913), who was responsible for the 1912 massacre in the Carroll County Court House in Hillsville, Virginia. The arguments are presented in the first document below. I now agree with Carol Allen (
