Database dwmerrill  includes family surnames Whitney, Merrill, Ray, Tinsley, Barnard, Goucher, Guiteau, etc.   It was created in June 1997 by Jonathan Alden Merrill (1945-). Family Tree Maker for Windows (FTW) version 10 was used to produce the GEDCOM file MERRILL.GED (1650 names).  That file was installed on 7/2/04 as Rootsweb database dm_dwmerrill.   Information about living persons is removed.

The same database was submitted earlier to Gene Stark's GENDEX , to Chris Perry's GENMATCH, to Tim Doyle's Online Genealogical Database Index (GENWEB), to Kindred Konnections as database me000008, to Cliff Manis' GENSERV  as database mern6na, and to Family TreeMaker's World Family Tree as Volume 7, Pedigree #2875.

The database dwmerrill has not been updated since June 1997.  For later updates and corrections, see database dwmerrill14 by Deane Whitney Merrill (1938-).
