GENDEX database buchanan2 contains ancestors and cousins of my sister-in-law Wendy Gay Buchanan Merrill (1941- ).  Principal surnames are Buchanan, Lincoln, Roush, Bennett, and Fuseck.

Information about living persons is removed, except for full name, gender, and relationship.  Persons are assumed dead if death date is known, or if birthdate is before 1898. Missing birthdates are estimated from next of kin.

Database buchanan2 updates some information previously in GENDEX database dwmerrill14 (Merrill, Barnard, Whitney, Childs, etc).   Database buchanan2 does not contain:

1. ancestors and cousins of my mother Harriet Ray Merrill (1909-1978): see database ray1;
2. ancestors and cousins of my grandmother Eleanore Edwards Goucher Merrill (1877-1950): see database goucher;
3. ancestors and cousins of my father Deane Whitney Merrill (1908-1987): see database dwmerrill14.

The database c:\ftw\merrill\buchanan2.ftw was created on 4/6/98 with Family Treemaker for Windows 4.4. The file buchanan2.ged was exported in GEDCOM 5.5 ASCII format. Gedclean 2.11 was used to remove most information about 55 living persons. The resulting file clean.html (137 names) was processed in wwh.net with GED2HTML LINUX ELF version 3.0b of 5/28/97,  with custom files options3.g2h and custom3.g2h. Database buchanan2 was submitted to GENDEX and GENMATCH.
